Job summary

United Future in Rutland, Vermont, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join an established clinical team in an outpatient specialty clinic with inpatient support. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive administrative backing and a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

You will diagnose and treat complex rheumatic diseases, perform injections, and manage DMARDs, while coordinating care with PCPs and using EMR for thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Training: Rheumatology fellowship after Internal Medicine residency.
• Licensure: Vermont license or eligibility.
• Certifications: Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology; DEA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide spectrum of rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; assess disease activity and response.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including DMARDs and biologics.
• Perform office-based procedures like joint injections and aspirations.
• Educate patients and families; maintain EMR documentation; coordinate care.
