Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist for a full-time, on-site role in Rutland, Vermont. You will evaluate and treat adults with complex rheumatic conditions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and manage comprehensive care plans in a patient-centered outpatient setting.

The position emphasizes clinical excellence, administrative support, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology; active DEA registration.
• Vermont medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship.
• Outpatient specialty practice experience and strong EMR documentation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, assess disease activity and response to treatment.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging to guide decisions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including DMARDs and biologics.
• Perform routine office procedures and educate patients and families.
• Maintain thorough EMR documentation and coordinate with care teams.
