Job summary

Anton Paar USA, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to drive growth in the Pacific Northwest by generating and managing accounts, presenting to executives, and closing opportunities.

The role reports to the West Region Sales Director, with a Seattle-area location preferred and substantial travel (50–60%). Ideal candidates have experience in technical sales of analytical instruments, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work independently to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, analytical instruments sales strongly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Previous experience with Rheology preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a natural sciences or engineering is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Generating and developing new accounts and effectively managing existing accounts.
• Presenting to small and large audiences including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
• Qualifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing business.
• Travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.
