Job summary

Anton Paar USA, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant for Analytical Instrumentation to drive growth in density, viscosity, refractometry, and related methods across Oregon and Alaska, with a preference for residing near Portland, OR. You will report to the West Region Sales Director in Torrance, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, analytical instruments sales preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Generating and developing new accounts and effectively managing existing accounts.
• Presenting to small and large audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
• Qualifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing business.
• Travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.
