Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft technically accurate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other procurement requests for FOLIO and related SaaS solutions. This role blends library expertise, research, and project management to translate complex customer requirements into clear, customer-focused proposals.

The ideal candidate will understand library operations, coordinate input from Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Legal, and other SMEs, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales or corporate communications with strong writing.
• 2+ years in writing, research, or proposal development with detailed information.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and related documents for FOLIO and SaaS solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, and questions.
• Research FOLIO capabilities and library workflows to craft complete responses.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review to submission with timelines and quality checks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Legal, and others to address requirements.
• Translate technical info into clear language focused on customer needs and outcomes.
• Maintain and update the RFP content repository as products evolve.
• Review content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
