Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate, compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other procurement requests for the FOLIO Library Services Platform and related SaaS solutions.

You will analyze customer requirements, coordinate proposals across teams, and translate complex library systems concepts into clear, customer-focused language, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a sales or corporate environment with communications/writing experience.
• 2+ years of professional writing, research, project coordination, proposal development or similar.
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and related procurement documents for FOLIO and EBSCO SaaS solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps and clarification questions.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, and related EBSCO solutions for complete responses.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review to submission, including timelines and quality review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Tech Support, Information Security, Legal and other SMEs.
• Translate technical product information into clear language focused on customer needs and outcomes.
• Maintain and update the RFP content repository as products evolve.
• Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance.
