Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is recruiting a Test Engineer to collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality to ensure test readiness and resolve issues. You will develop MDPs, define test hardware/software with Test Equipment Engineering, and support production testing in a high‑reliability manufacturing environment.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of test engineering experience, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) required.
• Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure test readiness.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) and test procedures.
• Define and improve test hardware and software with Test Equipment Engineering.
• Support production testing and troubleshoot issues in manufacturing.
• Evaluate non-conforming material and perform RCCA.
• Lead cycle-time improvements, ergonomic risk reduction, and automation initiatives.
