Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Test Engineer to support manufacturing test activities for DoD clearance projects. You will collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Design to develop test procedures and optimize test hardware and software.

Qualifications include STEM degree and 2+ years in test engineering, plus ability to obtain U.S. security clearance. This onsite role includes comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of Test Engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure test readiness and issue resolutions.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) and test procedures.
• Define and improve test hardware and software with Test Equipment Engineering.
• Support production testing and troubleshoot issues; manage hardware under test and test equipment.
• Evaluate non-conforming material, perform RCCA activities.
• Lead cycle-time improvements, ergonomic risk reduction, and cost reduction initiatives.
