Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Test Engineer in the US with a DoD clearance requirement. The role emphasizes collaboration across Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Design to ensure test readiness and robust data packages.

The position requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of test engineering experience, plus eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Onsite work is expected in a secured environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields and at least 2 years of related Test Engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure test readiness and issue resolution.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) and test procedures aligned with product specs.
• Define and improve test hardware/software with Test Development Engineering.
• Support production testing, troubleshoot issues, and manage test equipment in manufacturing.
• Evaluate non-conforming material and drive RCCA actions.
• Lead cycle-time improvements, ergonomic risk reduction, and cost-reduction initiatives.
