Job summary

Motorola Solutions' North America Post Sale Engineering Department is seeking an engineer to design and implement RF and IP network-based systems for government and public safety customers. You will work remotely from a home office with travel and lead customer-facing design reviews, system staging, and testing events.

The role requires RF/LMR design knowledge, IP networking, and experience with VMware, Linux, and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical discipline required.
• 2+ years of engineering or technical experience.
• RF and IP networking knowledge required.
• GROL/Amateur Radio license or equivalent experience.
• U.S. work authorization or sponsorship not specified.

Responsibilities

• Design RF coverage and capacity for system projects.
• Engage with customers for design reviews, staging, and testing events.
• Lead remote, customer-facing meetings and coordinate with project teams.
• Configure and test IP network-based systems and associated software.
• Troubleshoot RF components and systems and document results.
