Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an engineer for its North America Post Sale Engineering team. The role focuses on RF/LMR system design, microwave analysis, and IP networking within mission-critical public safety projects.

You will work remotely from a home office and travel up to 25–50% to support design reviews, testing, and deployments. The position requires RF principles, IP networking knowledge, and hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, Linux, and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF, microwave or LMR system design and integration.
• Experience interacting with customers and reviews of designs and tests.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and travel up to 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Engineer multi-faceted projects requiring design across RF, networking, and system components.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, and internal teams for design reviews, testing, acceptance events, and upgrades.
• Maintain project timelines, take ownership of solutions, and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead customer-facing meetings and coordinate with vendors to drive results.
