Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking an RF/Systems Engineer with 2+ years of experience to design and implement mission critical radio and network solutions for government and public safety. The role includes extensive collaboration with customers, project teams, and vendors.

Based in Maryland, Delaware, or DC with 25–50% travel, you will perform Engineer of Record duties on mid-sized projects and ensure design quality across RF, IP, and deployment aspects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
• 2+ years of engineering or technical experience.
• Background in RF/telecommunications and public safety systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Engineer of Record role on small to mid-sized projects.
• Design coverage, microwave, RF LMR, and WAN networks across projects.
• Interface with customers and consultants for design reviews and testing events.
• Lead project timelines and ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, technicians and customers.
• Engage colleagues for complex tasks and learn via training Materials.
• Lead customer-facing meetings and coordinate with contractors.
