Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an RF/Systems Engineer for the North America Post Sale Engineering team. This role involves designing and validating RF/microwave systems, FTAs, and IP networks while coordinating with customers, project managers and technicians. Remote work with 25-50% travel, and residence in MD/DE/DC are required.

You will collaborate on site design, testing, and deployment, using VMware ESXi, Linux, and Windows, with focus on safety-critical communications.

Qualifications

• RF principles and basic wireless concepts.
• Basic IP networking concepts.
• Familiar with P25 and related interoperability.
• Experience with CAD and public safety software.
• Knowledge of low voltage wiring practices.
• Experience with RF and telecom hardware.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record on small to mid-sized projects, coordinating design reviews and testing.
• Design coverage, capacity, microwave, and RF systems; collaborate with customers and consultants.
• Lead meetings with customers and vendors; ensure project timelines and deliverables.
