Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Air Force requirements. You will work with Engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

The role involves up to 50% travel, with remote option depending on location. Requires U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance or ability to obtain; background and drug test required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts; background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure systems, and run field trials/evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound and align with strategic priorities.
• Present technical demos for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networking needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
