Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with Air Force requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate interoperability of the StreamCaster MANET radios across airborne and ground environments, including field tests.

This role involves up to 50% travel to field tests and demonstrations, with a 100% remote option depending on location, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field; or HS diploma with relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to use testing data for benchmarking.
• Coordinate with Business Development to meet strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networks.
• Research market for partner integrations and end-to-end architectures.
• Engage with Air Force program offices and AFRL/AFLCMC leads.
