Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Process Engineer for the Microwave Automated Factory in a cleanroom environment. The role focuses on high-volume, high-mix production, with responsibilities spanning materials, processes, and production support.

You will collaborate with product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing engineers to drive improvements. The position requires a STEM Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, plus familiarity with

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Microwave Automated Factory in high-volume, high-mix production with on-site responsiveness to equipment, process, material, and product problems
• Support assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment (die attach) and cure
• Work with product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing engineers on product manufacturing
• Develop and implement materials, processes, process improvements, and production support using SPC, DOE, RCCA
• Evaluate materials, equipment and processes and interface with suppliers to resolve technical issues
• Spend 8+ hours per day in a clean room environment following ESD procedures
