Job summary

RTX's McKinney Advanced Products Center (APC) seeks a Senior Product Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering to lead process and product development for production programs, coordinating with process and design teams to deliver microelectronics for defense systems.

This on-site role emphasizes assembly methods, materials, and qualification to military standards, with opportunities to contribute to patents and innovations in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Use SPC, DOE, and analysis to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve yields.
• Oversee assembly methods, materials, and development for current and next-gen technologies.
• Evaluate materials, equipment, and processes; interface with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Quality, Reliability, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Manufacturing, and Operations.
• Support on-site production and cleanroom/non-cleanroom activities.
