Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas, is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Microwave Automated Factory in a clean-room manufacturing environment. You will work with cross-functional teams on assembly processes, materials, and process improvements to ensure high-quality production.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, with familiarity in SPC, DOE, RCCA and technical writing. This is an onsite position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with automated machines and SMT/microelectronics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Microwave Automated Factory in a high-volume, high-mix production environment.
• Assist assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment and cure.
• Collaborate with product, quality, reliability and manufacturing engineers on production.
• Develop and implement materials, processes, process improvements using SPC, DOE, RCCA.
• Evaluate materials, equipment and processes and interface with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Spend 8+ hours daily in a clean room, following clean room and ESD procedures.
