Job summary

Baptist Health, the largest healthcare system in central Alabama, seeks a Revenue Cycle Optimization Educator to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training for Patient Access staff.

The role collaborates with Denials Specialists, QA, and operational leaders to close knowledge gaps, update payer rules, and ensure accurate front-end revenue cycle processes. Strong background in healthcare revenue cycle and instructional design is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years hospital-based patient access experience; 5 years in hospital/ambulatory physician office settings preferred.
• Formal training in healthcare revenue cycle operations or front-end processes is advantageous.
• CPAR or CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for Patient Access staff.
• Collaborate with Denials Specialists, QA, and leaders to identify training needs and close knowledge gaps.
• Support system testing, workflow validation, and payer rule configuration to align with regulatory requirements.
