Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Optimization Educator to design, develop, and deliver training programs for Patient Access staff. You will collaborate with Denials Specialists, QA, and leaders to identify needs and close knowledge gaps across all Patient Access workflows.

You will develop onboarding, refresher, and payer-specific trainings, support system testing, and ensure standardized processes that minimize registration errors and denials.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years hospital-based patient access or 5 years hospital/ambulatory physician office-based experience.
  • Experience in training, quality review, instructional design or front-end revenue cycle operations strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting registration, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, or financial counseling.
  • CPAR or CHAA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for Patient Access staff across Baptist Health.
  • Collaborate with Denials Specialists, QA Representatives, and leaders to identify training needs and close knowledge gaps.
  • Support system testing, workflow validation, payer rule configuration, and new edit creation.
  • Ensure front-end teams are equipped with knowledge, tools, and standardized processes to minimize errors and denials.
