Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation in Oak Hill, WV, is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to lead revenue cycle operations from pre-admission to discharge, focusing on maximizing collections and ensuring compliance.

You will supervise a business office team and collaborate with Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement, and Social Services to ensure accurate patient accounts and timely reimbursements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Accounting/finance coursework preferred.
• At least five years of experience in billing and collections.
• Experience in billing and collections in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle operations from census to Medicaid tracking.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement, and Social Services to ensure accurate accounts.
• Serve as financial liaison during the resident journey—from admission to discharge.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and corporate guidelines.
• Monitor revenue cycle metrics (bad debt, cash collections, AR aging, DSO) and drive improvements.
• Partner with Market RCM leaders to align with office initiatives and obtain support.
