Job summary

AlignMed Partners is seeking a Business Office Manager to lead the revenue cycle from pre-admission to discharge, driving collections and ensuring compliant patient accounts in a long-term care setting.

You will supervise a team, partner with Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement and Social Services, and act as a financial liaison through the resident journey, ensuring accurate AR and timely cash collections.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; accounting/finance coursework preferred.
• At least five years in billing and collections; long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management systems, processes and metrics.
• Ability to lead and develop a business office team.
• Professionalism in working with residents, families and center leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle from pre-admission to discharge.
• Optimize collections, ensure compliance, lead a business office team.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement and Social Services.
• Conduct financial interviews during admission and assist with discharge obligations.
• Ensure cash handling procedures and segregation of duties per guidelines.
• Use revenue cycle metrics to identify challenges and build solutions.
• Partner with Market RCM leaders to align with broader initiatives.
