Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Manager of Revenue Cycle Optimization and Analytics to drive change initiatives across the revenue cycle. You will collaborate with operational leaders and IT to improve KPIs and ensure successful program rollouts.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7 years of revenue cycle experience (or 9 years without advanced degree), plus 2 years of management and 2 years of analytics experience; EPIC proficiency is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 7 years' Revenue Cycle experience
• In lieu of advanced degree: 9 years' Revenue Cycle experience required
• 2 years Management experience required
• 2 years Reporting/Analytics preferred
• Experience identifying gaps in data or system requirements and collaborating with appropriate technical stakeholders to best effect change
• Strong working knowledge of EPIC

Responsibilities

• Drive change initiatives throughout the revenue cycle.
• Lead project management initiatives for major program rollouts, e.g. policy changes, technology changes, and process improvements with work plans and feedback loops to validate results.
• Collaborates with operational colleagues at all levels to identify issues and engage stakeholders in the change journey.
• Learns and tracks operational KPIs to ensure meaningful impact to the business model.
• Engages with leaders to identify data or system gaps and collaborate with IT and Analytics to effect change.
• Documents issues and gains stakeholder alignment around priority items and ensures timely progress.
