Responsibilities

• Track and compile return data to identify areas of concern and root causes.
• Inspect items returned after delivery to ensure proper return coding.
• Gather information from customers about potential reasons for merchandise returns.
• Solve issues arising during the return process.
• Clear systems to prepare items for the billing department.
• Identify products by item number.
• Identify return scores accurately.
• Address driver issues on load out (missing pieces, missing hardware, cross dock items, etc.).
• Communicate with customers to gather data and perform customer service functions.
• Report findings to immediate supervisor to correct errors and sustain continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate Ashley Furniture Core and Growth Values in all job functions.
