Job summary

Employnet, Inc. is seeking a dependable Returns Clerk to process returned merchandise and maintain precise records. You will inspect items, verify documentation, and handle credits or exchanges while coordinating with customers and warehouse teams.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm; on-site in Reno, NV.

Qualifications

• Requires basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Experience with warehouse or clerical tasks preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.

Responsibilities

• Process customer and product returns accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect returned merchandise for damage, defects, or quality concerns.
• Verify return documentation, product information, quantities, and authorization requirements.
• Enter return information and transactions into inventory systems.
• Process credits, exchanges, or other return resolutions.
• Communicate with customers and departments regarding return issues.
• Sort and organize returns for restocking or disposal.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
• Research and resolve discrepancies between paperwork and records.
• Label, package, and store returned merchandise.
• Assist with inventory control and stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and provide courteous service.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform additional clerical and warehouse duties as assigned.
