Job summary

Ascensus is a leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America. The Account Executive will provide client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors, leveraging deep knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products to ensure high client satisfaction and plan retention.

The role emphasizes proactive service, problem solving, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver value to clients and drive retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years direct client experience in financial services preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of Ascensus business, products and services.
• Deliver proactive client service in a professional manner.
• Build effective relationships with team and internal departments to serve clients.
• Provide thorough research, problem solving and issue resolution.
• Weigh client perspective and business needs when addressing issues and proposing solutions.
• Identify, record, monitor, and close items for assigned clients.
• Ensure inquiries and issues are resolved and service levels are met.
• Communicate clearly regarding services, execution and resolutions throughout the service cycle.
• Support the sales team in their efforts to attain more business.
• Produce, analyze, and distribute reporting to achieve goals.
• Prioritize activities and manage time to provide quality client service.
• Respond to inquiries on plan activity status (compliance testing, statements, RMDs).
