Job summary

Busey is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant for Retirement Plan Services in Peoria, IL. You will support sales growth and service existing client relationships within the Retirement Plan Services Team.

The role requires strong communication and analytical skills, knowledge of retirement plan regulations, and experience with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms. Collaboration with the sales team and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Robust oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills necessary to process and interpret multiple data points and present findings in writing.
• Retirement plan industry trends, regulations and rules.
• Multi-task and work independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
• Experience with various virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to respond to proposal requests from prospects, including discovery calls.
• Research and analyze information for prospective and current retirement plan clients; benchmark fees, services and investments.
• Position our solutions by understanding competitors and responding to questions.
• Prepare and tailor proposal presentations for the sales team.
• Coordinate onboarding of new retirement plan business, including compliance items and vendor management.
• Support existing client relationships proactively and reactively.
• Communicate industry trends, legislation and rules to clients and prospects.
• Identify and suggest improvements to policies and processes and service levels.
