Busey is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant for Retirement Plan Services to support sales growth and service existing client relationships. You will partner with the sales team on proposals, analyze plan data, benchmark fees, and stay current on retirement regulations. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client success in a dynamic retirement plan environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years retirement plan service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of retirement plan laws and regulations preferred.
• Ongoing industry training and continuing education.
• Retirement plan industry credentials and/or designations preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
• Experience with various virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to respond to proposal requests from prospective clients, including discovery calls.
• Research and benchmark fees, services and investments for prospective and current retirement plan clients.
• Understand competitors and position our solutions effectively.
• Prepare tailored proposal presentations for the sales team based on analyses.
• Respond to technical product and competitive positioning questions.
• Schedule and prepare review materials for existing clients, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist onboarding of new retirement plan business, including compliance items and external vendor management.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and communicate them to clients.
