Busey Bank in Champaign, IL, is seeking a Retirement Plan Services Internal Sales Consultant to support sales growth and service existing client relationships within the Retirement Plan Services Team. Responsibilities include responding to proposal requests, analyzing retirement plans, benchmarking fees and services, preparing tailored presentations, and coordinating with internal and external partners.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of retirement plan service experience;

Qualifications

• Robust oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to process and interpret multiple data points.
• Knowledge of retirement plan industry trends, regulations and rules.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and stay detail oriented.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite; experience with virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to respond to proposal requests and participate in discovery calls.
• Research and analyze prospective and current retirement plans; benchmark fees, services and investments.
• Understand competitors and position our solutions effectively.
• Prepare and tailor proposal presentations for the sales team based on analysis.
• Respond to technical product and competitive positioning questions.
• Coordinate internal efforts and external vendors for client reviews and onboarding.
