Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant for Retirement Plan Services to help grow client relationships and support the sales team in delivering tailored retirement plan solutions.

You will analyze client needs, benchmark fees and investments, respond to proposals, and coordinate onboarding and ongoing service for existing plans, while staying current on industry regulations and trends.

Qualifications

• Robust oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to process and interpret data and present findings.
• Knowledge of retirement plan trends, regulations and rules.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to respond to proposal requests and participate in discovery calls.
• Research and examine information for retirement plan clients and benchmark fees, services and investments.
• Understand competitors and position our solutions effectively.
• Prepare tailored proposal presentations for the sales team based on final analysis.
• Respond to technical product and competitive positioning questions.
• Schedule and prepare review materials for existing clients with internal and external coordination.
• Support existing relationships proactively and reactively.
• Assist with onboarding of new retirement plan business including compliance and vendor management.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulations and communicate them to clients.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to policies and service levels.
