Job summary

Paychex is seeking a senior retirement plan sales representative to sell retirement and FSA products to decision makers and end users. You will schedule meetings with financial advisor channels, identify client needs, and close deals using a strategic Go-to-Market approach.

The role includes travel as needed and requires building strong client relationships. You will also manage paperwork, enter data in Salesforce, and participate in ongoing training to advance to senior roles within the sales

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience in relevant Paychex experience and completion of required training programs and/or certification by senior sales management.
• 2 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management.

Responsibilities

• Presents retirement plan and flexible spending account products to final decision makers and end users to close new sales.
• Schedules appointments with potential and current referral sources to secure referrals.
• Prospects via telephone, direct mail, seminars, and other local marketing programs to gain new clients.
• Analyzes prospects’ needs and recommends appropriate Paychex solutions.
• Expedites resolution of client problems or complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Enters prospects, sales and client notes into Salesforce.com for seamless selling and service.
• Represents the corporation positively to clients and the community.
• Maintains and develops product knowledge and sales skills to achieve excellence in lead generation, presentations, and closing.
• May travel outside territory for conferences, training, or meetings.
