Job summary

Paychex in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Retirement Plan Sales Representative to drive growth by presenting retirement and FSA products to key decision makers. You will schedule client meetings, identify referral sources, and leverage a go-to-market strategy to close new business.

The role requires strong sales skills, the ability to analyze client needs, and experience in sales management. Travel may be required for conferences and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with training programs or certification.
• Less than 1 year of Paychex experience and completed training or certification.
• 2 years of experience in sales or sales management.

Responsibilities

• Presents retirement plan and FSA products to decision makers to close sales.
• Schedules appointments with potential and referral sources to secure referrals.
• Prospects via phone, mail, events and local marketing to grow the client base.
• Analyses prospects’ needs and refers to the appropriate Paychex party.
• Expedites resolution of client problems or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Completes new business paperwork and enters notes into Salesforce.com.
• Projects a positive image and upholds Paychex’s reputation.
• Maintains and updates product knowledge through training and SAFE exams.
• May travel outside territory for conferences and trainings.

Education

H.S. Diploma - Required

Less than 1 year of experience in Relevant Paychex experience and successful completion of required training programs and/or certification by senior sales management.

2 years of experience in Relevant sales/sales management.
