Job summary

Cetera is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to drive growth of our Cetera branded 401(k) solution across the Southeast and Northeast regions. The role focuses on developing advisor relationships, identifying retirement plan opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle from discovery to close.

You will present to plan sponsors, deliver competitive analysis and customized proposals, and partner with internal teams to support successful implementation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience in retirement plan products.
• FINRA Series 65 required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong prospecting and closing skills.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop Southeast and Northeast territories to hit sales/asset goals.
• Build and execute territory sales plan to grow Cetera 401(k) adoption.
• Educate and consult Cetera advisors; expand retirement plan opportunities.
• Manage full sales cycle from discovery to close.
• Deliver presentations to advisors and plan sponsors with proposals.
• Maintain sales pipeline and timely follow-up.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Stay current on retirement plan trends and regulations.
