Job summary

Cetera is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to partner with retirement-focused advisors, delivering consultative sales support and driving employer-sponsored plan growth. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the retirement plan industry with defined contribution sales or advisor-facing solutions.
• Understanding of financial markets and retirement plan regulations.
• Excellent prospecting and closing skills with strong sales planning and market knowledge.
• Travel requirements: between 25-50% travel.
• Experience in broker-dealer, recordkeeper, DCIO asset manager, or retirement plan provider environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop Southeast and Northeast territories to achieve retirement plan sales and asset goals.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to build pipeline and adoption of Cetera 401(k) solutions.
• Manage full sales cycle from discovery and proposal to follow-up and close.
• Provide consultative sales support to retirement-focused advisors to drive employer-sponsored plan opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support advisor needs and sales opportunities.
• Document sales activity and campaigns to promote business growth and resource awareness.
