Job summary

Cetera is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to drive growth for our Cetera branded 401(k) solution across the Southeast and Northeast. You will develop advisor relationships, identify plan opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close.

Must reside in territory and travel 25–50%. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 plus incentives. FINRA licenses and a strong sales background are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience with retirement plan products.
• Required: FINRA Series 65.
• Preferred: Series 7, 66, 63 & Insurance Licenses.
• Understanding of financial markets and retirement plan regulations.
• Excellent prospecting and closing skills; strong communication.
• Strong presentation and organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the Southeast and Northeast territories to achieve retirement plan sales and asset goals.
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to build pipeline and adoption of Cetera branded 401(k).
• Build relationships with Cetera advisors through outreach, education, and sales consultation.
• Identify and develop retirement plan opportunities within advisor practices and win new business.
• Manage full sales cycle from discovery through close.
• Deliver presentations to advisors, business owners, and stakeholders with proposals.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to support outcomes.
• Stay current on retirement plan trends and regulatory changes.
• Other duties as defined.
