Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in Bellingham to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram maintenance to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

Responsibilities include promoting rewards programs, educating customers on VOC surveys, and supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS. The role requires standing for long periods and working nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling to standards.
• Stocking, merchandising and planogram duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
