Job summary

Michaels is seeking store team members in Bellingham to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock. Cross-training in Custom Framing is also available.

The role emphasizes POS cash handling, omni-channel support (BOPIS/SFS), and promoting the Rewards program; employees may enjoy benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram duties.
• Maintain stock and store recovery to ensure in-stock, well-merchandised store.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
