Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining shelf freshness to support a well-merchandised store. As part of the team, you’ll engage customers on rewards programs, support omni-channel tasks like BOPIS/SFS, and adhere to SOPs while promoting a positive store image.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout with cash-handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain stock and merchandising, including return/go back processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOP compliance.
