Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a proactive Training and Development Specialist to design, deliver, and sustain onboarding and ongoing learning. You will lead on-the-job training across retail and production operations, coach associates, and monitor program effectiveness.

Responsibilities include coordinating trainings with site leaders, ensuring mandatory modules are completed, and traveling to multiple sites as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring preferred.
• Strong communication skills with constructive feedback.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-the-job training sessions for new hires and existing team members, focusing on retail and production operations.
• Provide hands-on coaching to ensure proficiency and task understanding.
• Ensure completion of mandated training modules within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with site leadership to identify training needs and implement solutions.
• Administer competency assessments and report on trainee progress.
• Maintain ongoing updates to training content and materials.
• Travel to various locations to support training as needed.
• Flexibly support training during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
