Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Store Trainer for the Sulphur Springs, TX area. The role coordinates with retail management to train and develop partners and onboard new hires into company policies, culture, and procedures.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, motivation to lead teams, and a customer-focused mindset while maintaining store safety and presentation at all times.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience.
• HIPAA certification required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with retail management to train and develop partners.
• Onboards new hires to Company policies, procedures, people, and culture.
• Identifies partners in need of training and ensures all necessary training modules are completed.
• Receives teaching materials from corporate and conducts trainings on a wide variety of areas (on-the-job, refresher, etc).
• Reports progress of partners during training to management.
• Assists partners with position-specific issues and suggests improvements to management.
• Maintains customer-service oriented attitude and ensures store presentation is welcoming to customers.
• Maintains clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environment per Company safety procedures.
