Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Training Specialist to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service with accurate product information. The role emphasizes coaching, certification completion, and maintaining merchandising standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service or sales experience, with strong communication and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Product Sales Specialists to provide exceptional customer service and product information
• Complete product specialist certification courses and maintain certification readiness
• Oversee merchandising, pricing and organization of the department to ensure accurate displays and signage
• Proactively communicate SOP changes to associates and manage training delivery
• Assist customers with product questions and selections; process checkouts and returns per guidelines
• Greet customers and present how-to classes; support POS transactions and inventory needs
• Operate and supervise safety practices including forklift proficiency testing where applicable
• Maintain store hours and pickup windows alignment with policy
