Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by delivering exceptional service and accurate product information.

The role emphasizes training delivery, certification completion, and strong knowledge of merchandising, pricing, and showroom operations. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act and work in a manner that is consistent with company’s core values.
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
• Deliver training and guidance to Product Sales Specialists on the basic P’s of retail (People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing).
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure excellent customer service.
• Complete required product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation details to assist customers effectively.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOPs and changes to associates promptly.
• Assist in showroom stocking and merchandising as needed.
• Greet customers and assist with questions and product selections.
• Process transactions at checkout and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
