Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a position focused on training and developing Product Sales Specialists and delivering exceptional customer service. The role emphasizes knowledge of merchandise, installations, and the company’s retail philosophy to ensure a superior customer shopping experience.

You will lead certification courses, manage product placement, and assist customers at checkout, with duties spanning greeting customers, answering product questions, and presenting classes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Comply with safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Drive and teach the basic retail philosophy: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP direction and changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Direct and assist processing of merchandise to showroom floor.
• Validate product placement and pricing within the department.
• Greet customers and assist with questions and selections.
