Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Training and Development Lead to elevate the performance of Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service and accurate product information in-store.

You will guide certification programs, reinforce the basic P’s of retail, and oversee merchandising, pricing, and showroom readiness. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and effective communication across store teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience or an equivalent combination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in alignment with the company’s core values.
• Follow safety SOPs and lifting practices.
• Lead and train Product Sales Specialists in the basics of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Ensure accurate merchandising, pricing, and department organization.
• Provide clear SOP guidance to associates and communicate changes promptly.
• Complete product specialist certifications and maintain product knowledge.
