Job summary

Toast is expanding its presence with the Toast Retail platform and seeking a Retail Account Executive to join a founding team. You will prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops across an assigned territory.

You will demo and tailor solutions using a consultative approach, partnering with internal teams to ensure delivery and customer success. Expect 25%+ travel and a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Willingness to travel 25% or more to cover assigned markets.
• Residence near the target market or within reasonable travel radius.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops.
• Generate lists of prospective customers and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close.
• Conduct product demos and tailor solutions to meet prospect needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery meets expectations.
• Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities.
• Understand competitive landscape and position Toast effectively.
