Job summary

Toast is expanding its Toast Retail platform into convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. As a Retail Account Executive, you will join a founding team to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new accounts in an assigned territory.

You will develop customized solutions for clients, demonstrate products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and travel up to 25% or more.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops.
• Generate lists of prospective stores and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close.
• Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs.
• Partner with teams across the business to ensure expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery.
• Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities.
• Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market.
