Job summary

Toast is expanding its Retail platform into convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops, requiring an entrepreneurial, results-driven Retail Account Executive to join a founding team.

You will prospect, build relationships, conduct demos, and sign up new accounts across your assigned geographic territory, traveling 25%+ to win business and ensure delivery with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with selling/negotiation ability.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
• Willingness to travel 25% or more and work in a team setting.
• Retail operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops.
• Generate prospect lists and manage the full sales cycle from initial call to close.
• Conduct product demos and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet delivery expectations.
• Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities.
• Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively.
