Job summary

Toast is expanding into new retail verticals and seeks a Retail Account Executive to join the founding team. You will prospect, build relationships, and sign up convenience stores, groceries, and bottle shops with a consultative approach.

You will manage the full sales cycle, conduct demos, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure delivery meets promised outcomes. Expect travel and a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial culture at Toast.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops
• Generate lists of prospective retailers and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
• Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs
• Partner with teams across the business to ensure delivery meets expectations
• Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities
• Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast in the market
