Best Buy in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions. You will assess needs, perform basic services and coordinate with other agents for more complex repairs.

You’ll receive training and resources to help customers decide whether to repair or replace devices, set up new devices, and provide accurate time estimates for next steps. A few months of retail or customer service experience and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening and providing time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
