Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent at our Harrisburg, PA store. You’ll be the first point of contact for tech questions, providing friendly, informed support and guiding customers through basic device setup and simple repairs.

You’ll collaborate with other agents to resolve more complex issues and help customers decide whether to repair or replace devices. The role emphasizes training, customer service excellence, and ongoing product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Preferred: passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
• Preferred: ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
